  • SMS toured Recology Sonoma Marin Material Recovery Facility (MRF) & Redwood Landfill and Composting Facility
  • Clean Air Day California sponsored 1-week Walking School Bus event
  • Worked with Novato Rotary to build a bioswale at Loma Verde
  • Worked with One Hamilton to make a pollinator meadow using free plants from Xerces Society
  • SMS toured Novato Fire "Zone Zero" fire-safe gardens
  • ​Planted a Native Habitat Garden at Lynwood
  • Fellows tabled at Novato Sanitary District's 100-year celebration.
